Sara Spruch-Feiner is a lifelong New Yorker, writer and editor covering the business and culture of beauty. She is currently Senior Editor at BeautyMatter, where she edits and reports stories about the forces shaping the global beauty industry. In her free time, she works on her Substack, Bad Influen¢e.
From 2021 to 2026, Sara was the founding editor of Glossy Pop, a vertical dedicated to the intersection of beauty, fashion, and culture. For nearly five years, she wrote the weekly Glossy Pop Newsletter and, from 2023 to 2026, co-hosted The Glossy Beauty Podcast.
Her work has also appeared in New York Magazine, The Zoe Report, Byrdie, Women’s Health, Coveteur, Shape, and other publications.
Sara earned a B.A. in English literature from Kenyon College, with minors in women’s studies and art history. In 2009, she received a scholarship from New York Women in Communications.
She is equally passionate about women’s rights, a great serum, television, and the power of writing about all three.
